Barry Schwartz
Barry Schwartz has been a partner at Chatham Asset Management since 2006. He has over 30 years of experience in the high-yield market.
Prior to joining Chatham, Schwartz was a co-founder and Managing Member of Quarry Point Partners (2004-2006), a long-short, high-yield hedge fund. Before that, he was managing director and head of high-yield trading and sales at Bank One Capital Markets (now part of J.P. Morgan) and ABN Amro.
Schwartz also served in a high-yield research role at BancAmerica Robertson Stephens, Nomura and PaineWebber, where he specialized in the media and telecom sectors. He began his career with Merrill Lynch in 1987. Barry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Delaware.
