John Bode

John Bode was appointed executive vice president, chief financial officer and chief transformation officer for the Postmedia Network, a leading Canadian news media company, in 2023. He leads Postmedia’s finance operations and transformation portfolio.

Before transitioning to an executive role, Bode served on the board of directors at Postmedia. Additionally, he is a founding partner of Maxim Golf (www.maxim.golf). Maxim owns two daily-fee golf courses and operates over a dozen municipal daily-fee golf courses in the Midwest.

Previously, Bode served as chief operating officer of ReaderLink Distribution Services, LLC and as chief financial officer at Tribune Publishing. Bode serves on multiple public, private and charitable boards, including Zevra Pharmaceutical and Veterans Ventures.

Bode began his career as a CPA with BDO Seidman, LLP in 1996 after graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Accountancy.
